How to apply for a Polish Visa
Follow these steps to apply for your Polish visa through VFS Global in Poland Embassy in India:
1. Prepare Your application and documents:
- Visit the “schengen visa” or “National Visa” sections on our website to understand the visa types, required documents, photo specifications, and processing details.
- Download the document checklist to ensure your application is complete.
2. Book your appointment:
- Schedule your visit to the Visa Application Centre online or via our helpline.
- Review the security guidelines before attending your appointment.
3. Submit your application:
- Submit the Schengen or National Visa Application Form with supporting documents at your selected Visa Application Centre.
- Opt for courier delivery to avoid additional trips.
4. Pay the visa application fee:
- Pay the application fee in cash at the Visa Application Centre and collect the receipt for your payment.
5. Collect your passport:
- Track your application status online or via our call center.
- Collect your passport personally from the Visa Application Centre or opt for courier delivery. Uncollected passports will be returned to the Embassy after 30 days.
Visa application centres in India
Visa applications are assessed by:
- Embassy of the Republic of Poland in New Delhi: Applications from New Delhi, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Jaipur, and Bhopal.
- Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Mumbai: Applications from Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad.
Visa Categories: Schengen Visa and National Visa
Schengen visa (Type C):
Travel to any of the following Schengen countries for up to 90 days:
Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
National visa (Type D):

Important notes
- As of November 2, 2015, biometric fingerprint data and a digital photograph are mandatory for visa applications. Avoid scheduling appointments if you have temporary injuries or henna on your fingers.
